Volex plc (the "Company")

New Ordinary Shares issued under the Volex Group plc Non-Executive Directors Long Term Incentive Scheme

On 14 August 2013, the Company announced that an application had been made for 426,667 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company (the "Shares") to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange, to satisfy awards pursuant to the Volex Group plc Non-Executive Directors Long Term Incentive Scheme. The Shares rank pari passu in every respect with the existing issued ordinary shares in the Company and admission became effective on 19 August 2013.

In accordance with FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company advises that following the issue its issued share capital now comprises 62,920,245 Ordinary Shares. The Company has no shares held in treasury.

The above figure of 62,920,245 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
