Volex plc (the "Company")

Holdings in Company

Volex plc, the global provider of electrical, digital and optical connections, announces that NR Investments Limited, under the name of Chase Nominees, transferred 14,855,000 ordinary shares of the Company, par value £0.25 ("Ordinary Shares") to NR Holdings Limited on 3 April 2013. NR Investments Limited no longer has a disclosable interest in the Company. The Company was advised of this transfer on 15 May 2013.

NR Holdings Limited, under the name of Chase Nominees Limited, now holds 14,855,000 Ordinary Shares, amounting to 23.77% of the issued share capital of the Company. 

This announcement is made in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.8.12.
