PDMR Shareholding

Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on the 19 June 2014:

·      Karen Slatford, the Chairman of the Board, purchased 25,000 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 80.96 pence per share, representing in total 0.03% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company, and

·      Geraint Anderson, a non-executive Director, purchased 30,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 80.92 pence per share, representing in total 0.04% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

Following such purchase, Mrs Slatford will hold a total of 55,000 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.08% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company).  This is the first share purchase for Mr Anderson.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of the FCA Disclosure and Transparency Rules 3.1.2 to 3.1.4.
