Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on the 16th June 2014 Daren Morris, a non-executive director, purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 80.6 pence per share, representing in total 0.07% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

Following this purchase, Mr Morris will hold a total of 80,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.12% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
