Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on 13 February 2013, Chris Geoghegan, Non- Executive Director, purchased 30,000 ordinary shares of the Company, par value £0.25, at a price of 97 pence.

The purchase represents 0.05% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. With this purchase, Mr. Geoghegan holds a total of 30,000 ordinary shares of Volex plc, representing in aggregate 0.05% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
