Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on 12 February 2013, Daniel Abrams, Chief Financial Officer, purchased 71,849 ordinary shares of the Company, par value £0.25, at a price of 96.7 pence.

The purchase represents 0.11% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. With this purchase, Mr. Abrams holds a total of 71,849 ordinary shares of Volex plc, representing in aggregate 0.11% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
