Appointment of Non-executive Director

Volex plc ("Volex"), the global provider of customised electric power and data interconnect solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Daren Morris as a Non-executive director with effect from Friday, 17 January 2014.

Until recently, Daren was Group Head of M&A at Asia Resource Minerals plc. Previously, Daren spent the majority of his career in the financial services industry where he was a managing director at UBS Investment Bank and Morgan Stanley, advising manufacturing and technology companies on their expansion and financing strategies.

Daren is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Physics from Oxford University.
