VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

APPOINTMENT OF PRESIDENT OF STRATEGY AND INVESTMENTS

This announcement is made by Vobile Group Limited (the ‘‘Company’’) together with its subsidiaries (the ‘‘Group’’) on a voluntary basis.

The board of directors (the ‘‘Board’’) of the Company is pleased to announce that effective on 5 July 2021, Mr. MATSUZAWA Masaaki (‘‘Mr. Matsuzawa’’) has been appointed as the President of Strategy and Investments. In addition, he was appointed as an executive director of the Company at the 2021 annual general meeting of the Company held on 30 June 2021. He will be based in Hong Kong.

Mr. Matsuzawa, aged 48, is a media and investment banking executive with a career spanning 20 years at the National Basketball Association (‘‘NBA’’) and Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS). He previously served as the Senior Vice President of Global Strategy at the NBA and the Chief Strategy Officer for NBA China. Prior to this, he was a managing director at Goldman Sachs specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and financings. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Matsuzawa held leadership positions such as Chief Operating Officer of the Asia Mergers & Acquisitions Group and the Co-Head of the Asia Industrial Investment Banking Group. He received his MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
