L'Assemblée Générale mixte de VIRBAC du 28 juin 2011 a autorisé le directoire à mettre en œuvre un programme de rachat de ses propres actions, dans la limite de 10% du capital de la société, en vue notamment de réduire le capital social par annulation des titres achetés.

Dans le cadre de ce programme, la société a acquis 256 352 actions, représentant 2,94% de son capital. Conformément à l'autorisation donnée au directoire, ces actions ont été annulées à effet du vendredi 17 février 2012 après la clôture de la bourse.
