MOBILARM SECURES $900K DEFENCE CONTRACT WITH CANADA

Mobilarm today announces A$0.9 million contract for Submarine Escape and Survival Beacons and Services for the Canadian Submarine Fleet

• Contract awarded after initial purchases last financial year.

• Deliveries expected during the current FY18 year.

• Continued presence in defence market

Mobilarm subsidiary Marine Rescue Technologies (“MRT”) today announced the purchase of submariner escape beacons and services to support and maintain the equipment for the Canadian submarine fleet. The purchase includes beacons, training and service solutions for the fleet to maintain their equipment throughout its lifecycle.

MRT COO Ryan Pettit commented: "We are very pleased that after the successful rollout of pilot units last year, MRT has been selected for a fleet wide rollout of our technology. This is a strong validation of the quality and performance of our products, and sets us well for further prospects throughout all NATO Submarine Fleets. We were able to provide additional services to meet the strict requirements that are needed to maintain the equipment ensuring no disruption to fleet operations.”
