DIRECTOR RESIGNATION / APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHAIRMAN:
Further to our announcement dated 23 January 2012, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David Marshall as Chairman of the Board of Mobilarm Ltd. David takes over from departing Chairman Richard Allen who has resigned effective 29 February 2012. We thank Richard for his efforts during his time in office.
This appointment augments the transition of Mobilarm from a Perth based R + D focused Company to a global sales and distribution organisation. David Marshall is a highly regarded figure in the world of Marine Safety with in excess of 40 years experience in the development and sales of Man Overboard Technology. As the founder of recent acquisition Sea Marshall in the United Kingdom, David's wealth of experience and contacts within the Industry will be a huge benefit to the Board and senior management of the company going forward.
"To have the experience and support of an Industry leader like David is fantastic" commented Ken Gaunt, CEO, Mobilarm. "As our focus shifts to world wide sales with an emphasis on the United Kingdom and Europe having David on hand will be invaluable."
