In the state of Haryana, held key postsin the departments of Education, TechnicalEducation, P.W.D, Labour and Employment,Tourism, Cultural Affairs etc. Post retirement,apart from being associated with some voluntaryorganisations have served on some committee setup by the Govt of India. These inter-alia wereTraining Programme for IAS probationers, workingof AICTE, Committee to look why governmentdoctors were opting for private sector jobs, Trusteeon the Victoria Memorial Hall Trust, etc. Presently,is a member of the Police Complaint Authority,Chandigarh and heading a Monitoring Committeefor Shelter for Urban Homeless.
