मृतक किशन के भाई पवन का कहना है कि पुलिस हम दोनों भाइयों को 8 सितंबर की रात एक साथ ले गई थी। तब से टीआई और कॉन्स्टेबल बंद कमरे में किशन की पिटाई कर रहे थे। उससे चोरी उगलवाने के लिए उस पर पानी डाला था। एक महिला पुलिसकर्मी ने उसे जंगल में ले जाकर गोली मारने की धमकी भी दी थी। किशन के पिता जियालाल का आरोप है कि जब किशन पूरी तरह से स्वस्थ था तो उसकी तबीयत र्केसे खराब हो गई। पुलिस ने सरपंच के जरिए किशन की तबीयत खराब होने की सूचना दी। जब परिवार पहुंचा तो उसकी मौत हो चुकी थी।
