Spiecapag, a subsidiary of Entrepose Contracting (VINCI Construction), has won a contract in Bolivia to design, supply and build a gas pipeline and three flow lines with a total length of 142 kilometres as well as several regulator stations. It will also provide commissioning support for the infrastructure, which will connect the Incahuasi gas and condensate field with existing export pipelines.
The contract, awarded by TOTAL Bolivia (80% - operator) and Tecpetrol (20%) as joint concession holders on behalf of Bolivia's state-owned oil and gas company, YPBF, is part of a project aimed at developing large natural gas reserves in the southern part of Bolivia's Cordillera Central mountain range.
The works are scheduled for completion at the end of 2015.
