TransAtlantic has appointed a new CFO

Heléne Mellquist has been appointed as CFO in TransAtlantic. Heléne Mellquist joins the company from the International Division of Volvo Trucks, where she held the position of CFO and Vice President. Heléne has a degree in International Economics from the University of Gothenburg and has held several leading positions within various areas of the Volvo Group. Heléne Mellquist has extensive experience from areas including finance/accounting, communication and strategy position at AB Volvo, Volvo Trucks, Volvo Penta and Volvo Buses. She will assume the position on January 1, 2012.

Heléne Mellquist will replaces Gunnar Modalen, who as held the position since April 2011 on an interim basis and will support the company with other assignments.
