Discount Management Update

The Board of Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited announces that the Company has purchased £100mn of shares year-to-date 2025 as part of its ongoing commitment to discount management.

As of 27 August 2025, the Company has purchased 16.2 million shares at a total value of £100mn (US$133mn), representing 8.8% of shares outstanding as at 1 January 2025. This milestone reflects the Board's continued use of share buybacks to manage VEIL's share price discount to net asset value (NAV).

The Board believes that the use of share buybacks remains an effective tool to manage the share price discount and continues to authorise purchases when it believes such activity is in the best interests of shareholders.
