Pamela Kirby to step down as Senior Independent Director in 2020

Victrex plc, an innovative world leader in high performance polymer solutions, today announces that Pamela Kirby, Senior Independent Director and a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has notified the Board of her intention not to seek re-election at the 2020 Annual General Meeting in February 2020. Pam has served the Board of Victrex since 2011 and as Senior Independent Director since 2014.

A search process has now commenced for a new Senior Independent Director.

Larry Pentz, Chairman of Victrex, said: "The Board and the Company fully recognises Pam's contribution to Victrex, since 2011 as a Non-Executive Director, and as the Senior Independent Director since 2014.  Her diligence and insight from both her Executive career and Non-Executive roles at other Boards has benefited us greatly and I would like to thank her and wish her well."
