Update on Group Finance Director appointment

Victrex plc, an innovative world leader in high performance polymer solutions, today provides an update on its Group Finance Director position, further to the announcement of 5 December 2017.

Richard Armitage, currently Group Finance Director of Samworth Brothers, will join Victrex on 9 April 2018, initially as Group Finance Director-designate. Richard will work through an orderly transition with Louisa Burdett, Group Finance Director of Victrex, for three weeks, before joining the Board and becoming Group Finance Director on 1 May 2018.  Louisa will step down from the Board and is expected to leave Victrex on 30 April.

Jakob Sigurdsson, Chief Executive of Victrex, said: "I am looking forward to welcoming Richard to Victrex.
