Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Vicinity Centres (‘Vicinity’) (ASX: VCX) today announced the appointment of Mr Adrian Chye as Chief Financial Officer (‘CFO’), effective 13 September 2021.

Vicinity CEO and Managing Director, Mr Grant Kelley said: “After a comprehensive executive search, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Adrian Chye as Vicinity’s CFO. Adrian is an outstanding finance professional who has a deep working knowledge of Vicinity, having been with the business for more than 15 years.

“I am particularly pleased to appoint our new CFO from within Vicinity’s talent pool. Following his appointment as Acting CFO on 30 June 2021, Adrian demonstrated his exceptional skills and further established himself as a well credentialed and high performing executive, both internally and externally.”

Mr Chye joined CFSGAM Property (subsequently, Novion Property Group (‘Novion’)) in May 2006, continuing with Vicinity through the merger of Federation Centres and Novion in 2015. He is a Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years’ experience in strategy, corporate finance and accounting roles.

In summary, Mr Kelley said, “Together with the Vicinity board and the Executive Committee, I am looking forward to working with Adrian as our CFO as we continue to focus on executing our strategy and delivering long term, sustainable value creation for our securityholders.”

The CEO and Managing Director of Vicinity, Mr Grant Kelley, has authorised that this document be lodged with the ASX.
