Non-executive Director Wai Tang
Vicinity Centres’ (Vicinity, ASX:VCX) Board advises with great sadness the passing yesterday of Non-executive Director Ms Wai Tang.
Mr Trevor Gerber, Chairman of Vicinity, said: “On behalf of the Board, we are deeply saddened to hear of Wai’s passing and our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.
“Wai was an outstanding director on Vicinity’s Board. We will miss her wise counsel, enthusiastic contribution to our deliberations, and her friendship with all of us.”
The Board and executive team at Vicinity extend their deepest sympathy to Ms Tang’s family and friends, and express their gratitude for Ms Tang’s counsel and support given over the years, which will be greatly missed.
Ms Tang was a Non-executive Director of Vicinity from its inception in June 2015 and prior to this was a Non-executive Director of Federation Centres from May 2014. Ms Tang was also a member of Vicinity’s Audit Committee and Risk and Compliance Committee.
Mr Trevor Gerber, Chairman, has authorised that this document be given to ASX.
