VIB Vermögen AG lifts annual forecast and publishes final figures for 2006

Neuburg/Donau, May 31, 2007 – The real estate holding company VIB Vermögen
AG published its final figures for 2006 today. Revenues and earnings were
both up again slightly, in contrast to the provisional figures. Total
operating income was up to € 21.82 million (previous year: € 10.70
million). This includes the one off extraordinary factor from the
acquisition of a 94.45% interest in Bürgerliches Brauhaus Immobilien AG
(BBI AG) in the amount of around € 8.2 million.

According to the final results, VIB Vermögen AG recorded EBIT totaling €
13.77 million (previous year: € 3.46 million). The profit before tax (EBT)
was up to € 10.97 million (previous year: € 1.42 million). As a result, the
consolidated profit for fiscal year 2006 totals € 9.77 million. This
corresponds to earnings per share of € 0.90. As a result of the significant
increase in profit, the Managing Board is proposing to the General Meeting
to increase the dividend payment from € 0.06 to € 0.20 for fiscal year
2006.

As a result of the extensive investment activities since the start of the
year, the Managing Board has increased its forecast: Total operating income
(excluding extraordinary items) in 2007 is scheduled to total € 20 million,
with the profit before tax (EBT) up to at least € 9 million.

The measured investment properties totaled € 175 million as of December 31,
2006. As a result of the € 105 million already invested in additional
properties, and the capital expenditure schedule for the remainder of 2007,
the Managing Board believes that it will be able to increase its investment
properties to around € 350 million by the end of 2007.

investments focus on commercial properties in Southern Germany. Formed as a
partnership in 1993, VIB was converted into a public company in 2000. Since
then, the company has developed core competences in the acquisition and

The VIB Group’s real estate portfolio includes more than 30 different
properties, including an industrial zone and industrial park in
Neuburg/Donau, a commercial park in Günzburg and DonauCityCenter in

properties acquired in November 2006 and a retail and service center in the
