Vianet Group plc (AIM: VNET), the international provider of actionable data and business insight through our ecosystem of connected hardware devices, management software platforms, and smart insights portal, announces that it has today been notified that James Dickson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, on that same day, purchased 20,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a weighted average price of 87.89 pence per ordinary share.

Following this purchase, James Dickson is interested in 5,144,981 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 17.51 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
