TRADING HALT

The securities of Botswana Metals Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 14 August 2017 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Botswana Metals Limited (ASX: BML) requests an immediate trading halt over the Company’s securities pending the release of an announcement to the market.

The trading halt is requested until the commencement of trading on Monday, 14 August 2017 or upon the release by the Company of an announcement regarding a proposed material capital raising.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt request should not be granted.
