TRADING HALT
The securities of Botswana Metals Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 23 July 2013 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Botswana Metals Limited (“the Company”) (ASX Code BML) hereby requests a trading halt of its ordinary shares pending an announcement to be made by the Company regarding funding options.
A formal announcement will be made within two days of the granting of the trading halt in accordance with the ASX Market Rules.
Pursuant Listing Rule 17.1, the Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
