Veris Limited (ASX: VRS) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Veris Limited (‘VRS’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of VRS, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 25 February 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt

Dear Belinda

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Veris Limited (ASX: VRS) requests a trading halt in respect of the ordinary shares of the Company commencing immediately.

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information:

• a) The trading halt is requested pending an announcement by the Company in relation to a proposed equity capital raising;

• b) The Company requests the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of, commencement of trading on Thursday 25[th] February 2021, and when the Company makes the intended announcement; and

• c) The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
