Veris Australia enters into new Framework Agreement with John Holland Group

  • Veris Australia enters 18-month National Framework Agreement with John Holland

  • Provides favourable competitive position to provide full suite of services on all projects

  • Extends on longstanding track record of large-project experience with John Holland

  • Bolsters opportunities to deliver on Federal Budget’s record $110b infrastructure pipeline

Veris Limited ( ASX: VRS ) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Veris Australia, leading provider of spatial data services, has entered into a new Framework Agreement with John Holland to support the streamlined national delivery of major projects.

The Agreement, which has been signed for an initial period of 18 months, commits both parties to working together to build a long-term relationship, while also providing a committed Schedule of Rates for works to be undertaken across Australia.

The Agreement builds on the longstanding relationship between the two parties, with Veris Australia providing a range of surveying and spatial data services to John Holland across a range of current and previous projects in the infrastructure and construction sectors.

Further, with the Government committing an additional $15.2 billion to a record $110 billion 10-year infrastructure investment pipeline in the recent Budget, there are significant opportunities for Veris Australia and John Holland to work together across infrastructure, road and rail projects, traditionally areas of strength and experience in the Veris Australia service offerings.

Outlook

Despite the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, Veris Australia has continued to build its secured backlog which has continued to strengthen and is now in excess of $50 million to be executed over the next 12 months. In addition, there remains continued strength in the identified pipeline of tendered projects and prospects with a weighted value now in excess of $150 million for execution over the next 24 months.

Michael Shirley, Chief Executive Officer, Veris Australia commented:

“John Holland and Veris Australia have a proud history of working together on some of Australia’s biggest projects and delivering improvements to Australian communities, and this Agreement will support the further strengthening of this key relationship into the future.

“Our national footprint and expertise across a number of different industry sectors is well aligned to support the requirements of John Holland, so it’s pleasing to see this Agreement will facilitate our streamlined engagement on projects.

“With a record level of investment committed to a pipeline of infrastructure projects in the recent Federal Budget, Agreements like this ensure we are well positioned to capture significant infrastructure opportunities.
