3D Laser Scanning Survey

Veris is pleased to announce the award of survey work for BHP Western Australian Iron Ore Operations.

The scope of this project is to survey and provide colour 3D laser scanning for the production areas of BHP’s Western Australia Iron Ore (WAIO) company operations.

The initial works are valued at circa $350,000, however, it is expected that this project will be performed within a nine month period with the potential for future works, subject to the scope of work. Veris advises that these initial works and potential future services to be provided by Veris are on Veris standard schedule of rates basis and as a result, the full contract value may vary with the scope of these initial engagements and any potential subsequent engagements or variations.

Commenting on Veris’ award, Managing Director Adam Lamond said:

“The award of this project demonstrates that Veris has the capability to perform complex large scale 3D scanning projects in both remote areas as well as within the urban infrastructure environment. 3D laser scanning and modelling is going to provide a growth market, as more businesses move to digitized visualisation and interactive 3D models of their assets, for both maintenance and future planning and to drive increased operational efficiencies. ”
