Aqura Technologies Awarded BHP Village Projects

Veris is pleased to announce, Aqura Technologies has entered into a three-year Services Contract with BHP (and its related body corporates) for the Joint Procurement for Minerals Australia and the provision of services for Technology Infrastructure upgrades.

The Services contract includes an agreed schedule of rates for technology and survey works.

Recent project awards by BHP to Aqura include the Yandi IRCES Project and the Whaleback IRCES Projects totalling $4.6 million. The Yandi IRCES Project is located in Yandi Village, a BHP WAIO accommodation camp supporting Yandi mine’s operation. The Whaleback IRCES Project is located in Whaleback Village in the township of Newman, Western Australia.

Aqura has been engaged to provide design, supply, installation, and commissioning of the BHP accommodation villages - In-room Communication and Entertainment System (IRCES), expected to be completed by October 2018.

Commenting on Veris’ award, Managing Director Adam Lamond said:

The Services Contract is a significant step for the growth of Aqura as a standalone business and will help ensure a smooth delivery of works over time helping meet both the clients and our needs. Importantly it also allows for BHP to engage us for Surveying services across the country as well.”
