Veris Market Update

Veris is pleased to provide an update on recent project awards across Australia.

New South Wales

Infrastructure investment in New South Wales continues to be the main driver behind increased revenue, in particular investment in transport infrastructure. The property market also continues to benefit from the buoyant state economy. Veris NSW operations are currently providing Surveying and 3D Spatial services on most of Sydney’s large infrastructure and development projects, many of which are due for completion beyond 2020, including:

Transport Infrastructure

• Sydney Metro Stage 1 - Principal Surveyor, Construction

• Sydney Light Rail project - Principal Surveyor, Construction

• Northern Road Upgrades, Stages 2 and 3 - Construction and Cadastral Surveys

• North Connex - Construction Survey and Survey Consulting

• B-Line Northern Beaches - Mobile Laser Scanning for 43km route

• Appin Road Upgrade - Detail Survey, Mobile Laser Scanning and Subsurface Mapping

Building Construction

• The Crown Sydney Hotel Resort, Barangaroo -Subdivision and Titling Services

• • Western Sydney Airport, Badgerys Creek - Cadastral and Boundary Surveys

• Wynyard Walk - Construction Surveys

• Northern Beaches Hospital - Construction Surveys

• ICC (Sofitel Hotel), Darling Harbour - Construction Survey

• Australian Technology Park - Construction Surveys and Strata Titling

• Macquarie Park Village - Construction Surveys and Strata Titling

• Darling Harbour Live and Exchange - Construction and Strata Titling

• Harold Park Re-Development - Construction Survey and Strata Titling

Queensland and Northern Territory

Veris Queensland operations has been awarded survey services, titling and tenure design on projects including:

• Significant developments adjacent to the CBD fringe of Brisbane, including the creation of upwards of 900 units as well as retail / commercial facilities

• The Hamilton Solar Farm near Collinsville anticipated to have an output of 69 megawatts consisting of approximately 59,000 panels with the capacity to supply approximately 31,000 households

• Infrastructure services for the Northern Gas Pipeline Project.

Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania

Veris recent entry into the Tasmanian and South Australian markets has resulted in Veris providing services to the following projects as well as its Victorian property services:

• Midland Highway between Launceston and Hobart - Cadastral and Engineering Surveys

• Land, aerial and hydrographic surveying for the replacement of bridges and roads affected by the 2016 flood in northern Tasmania

• APY lands in the north of South Australia, Road construction - Survey Support on culturally significant land

• Redevelopment of the Nyrstar smelter at Port Pirie - 3D scanning

Western Australia

Despite the Western Australian resources and property markets remaining subdued, Veris WA have been successful in procuring Surveying, 3D Spatial and Planning services to the following projects, which will commence later in the year, or early in 2018:

• The City of Greater Geraldton CBD Revitalisation Project

• A significant Rail Infrastructure Scanning Project in the Pilbara

• Tenure Consultancy services for The Alkimos Central Master planned Community and The North Baldivis Master planned Community

• Infrastructure services for the Gruyere Gold Project.

Australian Capital Territory

Veris’ recent acquisition has facilitated entry into the Australian Capital Territory, where Veris has provided construction set out services in addition to complex titling solutions including Stratum Subdivision, Community Title and Unit Titles for:

• Geocon - Award of two major mixed use developments from one of the largest developers in Canberra

• • Republic and Midnight projects - Comprising nearly 1,800 units, hotel rooms and commercial space that are destined to set a new benchmark for mixed use precincts in Canberra.
