Appointment of Non-Executive Director

• Veris appoints Mr Jason Waller CSC to its Board as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director

• Mr Waller has helped a number of emerging technology and digital sector companies successfully upscale their businesses, with particular expertise in the spatial industry sectort

Digital and Spatial Data advisory and consulting firm Veris Limited ( ASX:VRS ), (‘ Veris’ or ‘ the Company’ ) is pleased to announce the appointment of highly experienced business leader, Mr Jason Waller CSC to its Board as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director.

Mr Waller has consistently exhibited significant leadership abilities across a 35-year working career. Over this time, he has helped a number of emerging technology and digital sector companies successfully upscale their businesses, including particular expertise operating in the spatial industry segment. Mr Waller was CEO of Spookfish Ltd, where he was instrumental in developing and implementing short and long-term strategies delivering shareholder value. His efforts led to significant growth for the company and the successful disruption of traditional markets. These skills will be invaluable to Veris as the Company continues to implement a digital strategy, which is underpinning a pivot into higher margin consultancy and strategic advisory services.

Mr Waller has also held senior executive roles in groups like SmartCTY Pty Ltd and InteliCare Holdings that successfully commercialised data analytics, technologies, AI/IoT, and SaaS products.

Mr Waller has also worked for major companies including General Electric and Aurizon, where he held senior management positions.

Mr Waller previously enjoyed a long and distinguished career with the Royal Australian Air Force and was awarded the Conspicuous Service Cross (CSC) in the 2009 Australia Day Honours List for his contribution to the Air Force's pilot training capability. This strong background in Defence is expected to support Veris’ efforts to penetrate this critical industry sector.

Mr Waller is currently an Advisory Board Member for Black Nova Venture Capital, and a Non-Executive Director of Spinifex Brewery Pty Ltd.

His previous Board experience includes InteliCare Holdings Ltd, Spookfish Technologies and Executive Chair of SmartCTY Pty Ltd.

As Mr Waller is a nominee to the Veris Board on behalf of Sherkane Pty Ltd, which holds 21.38% of Veris’ shares on issue, he will be considered a Non-Independent Director in accordance with the Veris Corporate Governance Charter.
