Changes to Veris Board of Directors

Veris Limited (VRS: ASX) (“Veris” or the “Company”) advises the following changes to its Board of Directors.

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David Murray as a Non-Executive Director of Veris Ltd. Mr Murray, an experienced senior executive will join the Board on 1 June 2021 following his retirement as a Partner of Deloitte. Mr Murray will also assume the role as chairperson of the Audit and Risk committee of Veris.

Mr Murray is based in Sydney and replaces Tom Lawrence, who is retiring from the Board after nearly a decade of service to Veris and its shareholders. During his tenure on the Board, Mr Lawrence has made a significant contribution to the Company by overseeing the emergence of Veris Australia as a truly national surveying and spatial data company as well as the continued organic growth of Aqura Technologies as it increases its position as a leader in the design and deployment of technological solutions across a range of remote and commercial environments. Mr Lawrence has also served as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and as a member of the Renumeration and Nomination Committee.

David Murray

Mr Murray is currently a partner of Deloitte Australia (retiring on 31[st] May 2021) based in Sydney. With over 40 years’ experience in professional services, he will provide a unique combination of global, regional, commercial and industry skills to the Veris Board. Mr Murray has been a Deloitte Australia Partner for 26 years incorporating leadership roles across the business including the National Executive, Business Unit Leader, Papua New Guinea Office Managing Partner and other National leadership roles and responsibilities.

Mr Murray is currently a Board member of a Global insurance entity. He also Chairs the Audit and Risk Committee of that entity. He is also Deputy Chair of a local not-for-profit organisation. Mr Murray is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and a Member of the Australian Institute of Directors.
