LogiCamms completes acquisition of oil and gas engineering specialist, ITL

LogiCamms Limited (ASX: LCM) is pleased to advise that further to the announcement on 7 May 2013 it has successfully completed the acquisition of leading oil and gas engineering specialist, Independent Technology Holdings Limited (ITL).

LogiCamms’ Managing Director, Steve Banning, said the response to the ITL acquisition announced on 7 May 2013 had been overwhelmingly positive and the company has increased confidence in its outlook for growth.

“The decision to purchase ITL with its complementary capabilities, culture and strategy, has been very well received by our people and our customers.

“Our people, both ITL heritage and LogiCamms heritage, are excited by the opportunities ahead of us as a competitive, diversified international organisation, and our hydrocarbons customers are already responding favourably to the expanded specialist capabilities offered by the combined group.

“LogiCamms remains confident that our ongoing expansion into the hydrocarbons sector, now expected to represent more than 40% of our business going forward, will support growth. We have a process in place to actively manage transition activities that seeks to fast-track realisation of the compliments and synergies between our businesses,” Mr Banning said.

ITL is expected to achieve revenue of NZD 28.2 million and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of NZD 4.5 million for the financial year ended 31 March 2013. As previously stated, the earnings contribution to LogiCamms’ financial year 2013 is not expected to be significant.
