Appointment of Managing Director

LogiCamms is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Steve Banning as Managing Director of the Company. Mr Banning will commence his position with LogiCamms on 18 October 2011.

Mr Banning has extensive experience across the resources and energy industry, most recently as CEO of Epic Energy from 2007 until 2011. In his role as CEO of Epic Energy, Mr Banning led the business through a period of significant growth in its infrastructure under management, particularly in relation to services to the hydrocarbons sector. Prior to his role as CEO at Epic Energy, Mr Banning held roles as General Manager Commercial of Epic Energy and Group Manager at Duke Energy International.

Mr Banning said of his appointment to LogiCamms “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead LogiCamms through the next stage of its growth as a market-leading engineering, project delivery and asset management business. There is an excellent depth of talent within the business and it is a privilege to be part of the next stage in the development of LogiCamms.”

The Executive Chairman of LogiCamms, Mr Peter Watson will resume his role as Non-Executive Chairman upon Mr Banning commencing his role as Managing Director on 18 October 2011. Mr Watson said of the appointment: “The appointment of Steve follows a comprehensive recruitment process that was announced on 28 June 2011. The Board is confident that Steve’s extensive experience will drive LogiCamms’ strategy for growth and that his energy and enthusiasm will complement the culture of the Company.”

Mr Watson also noted that “having fulfilled the role of Executive Chairman for the past 3 months, I have gained an excellent insight into the operations of the business, including having been able to work more closely with staff throughout the organisation over this period. I continue to be impressed by the quality and determination of the LogiCamms team and am looking forward to stepping back into my role as NonExecutive Chairman and working closely with Steve and his management team.”
