LogiCamms Limited strengthens leadership with new board and executive appointments

LogiCamms Limited (“LogiCamms”) is delighted to announce it has appointed Damian Young to the position of NonExecutive Director of the company and Paul Carey to the position of General Manager, Central Region.

These appointments strengthen the management capability and experience within the company.

LogiCamms Managing Director, Adam Keats commented, “Both these appointments will play an important part in the execution of our growth strategy. I look forward to working with Damian and Paul to create additional value for our shareholders”.

- Board Appointment Damian Young

Damian is a Chemical Engineer who has spent the majority of his working life in operational management positions in the Oil & Gas Industry. He holds both a Chemical Engineering and Commerce degree from Adelaide and Melbourne Universities respectively. Damian is also a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers Australia and is actively involved in community activities.

Past positions held include Operations, Maintenance and Project Management at Mobil Oil’s Port Stanvac Refinery in SA and General Manager of the Refinery from 1990 to 1996. From 2000 to 2005 Damian worked for Santos and held the positions of Moomba Area Manager and Manager Engineering and Reliability. Subsequently, he held the positions of Chief Operating Officer for GasNet Australia in Melbourne and Manager for Worley Parsons Project Delivery Team for BHP Billiton’s uranium and copper mine at Olympic Dam.

In August 2008, Damian was appointed General Manager, Central Region of LogiCamms with the brief to oversee leadership development and transition in order to position the business for future growth. This brief was successfully executed and has culminated in the appointment of Paul Carey to the position of General Manager, Central.

The board is delighted to have secured Damian’s ongoing involvement in the business as a Non-Executive Director. In addition, Damian will consult to the business in an executive capacity to support key activities as required.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) - Electrical from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Science - Extractive Metallurgy from Murdoch University. He has spent the majority of his working life associated with the mining and mineral processing industry obtaining extensive greenfield and brownfield project experience from both a project and operational perspective in various locations within Australia.

Previous positions held include Engineering Manager for WorleyParsons Project Delivery Team providing EPCM services to BHP Billiton Olympic Dam, Electrical and Process Control Maintenance Superintendent (2000-2002) for WMC Fertilizers at Phosphate Hill and Electrical Engineer (1996-1999) for BHP HBI at Port Hedland.
