Bad Wurzach, July 02, 2008 – Having obtained the approval of all Russian
authorities – including the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS of Russia) –
Saint-Gobain Oberland AG (plc.) has now acquired the majority of the voting
rights and thus the control of the glassworks ZAO Kamyshinsky Steklotarny
Zawod in Kamyshin, Russia. With the fulfilment of all of the conditions of
the purchase agreement dated March 27, 2008 the transfer of shares and
voting rights could be carried out.
