Vela (AIM:VELA), an AIM-quoted investing company focused on early-stage and pre-IPO disruptive technology investments, was informed yesterday by Antony Laiker that, following an acquisition of ordinary shares in the Company on 30 June 2022, he now has a total beneficial interest in 977,799,500 ordinary shares of 0.01 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing 6.02 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

Included within the total beneficial interest stated above are 420,000,000 Ordinary Shares held by BIXX Tech Limited, a company of which Antony Laiker is a director and significant shareholder.
