Director/PDMR Shareholding

The Board of Vela (AIM: VELA), an AIM-quoted investing company focused on early stage and pre-IPO disruptive technology investments, was informed that, on 30 July 2024, Nigel Brent Fitzpatrick, Non-Executive Chairman, bought 30,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.01 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 0.0085p per Ordinary Share.

Following the above purchase Mr Fitzpatrick now has a total beneficial interest in 31,500,000 Ordinary Shares, equivalent to approximately 0.17 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

The FCA notification in relation to Mr Fitzpatrick's dealing and made in accordance with the requirements of the UK Market Abuse Regulation is appended further below.
