Completion of investment in THEVIBE Ltd

Further to the Company's announcement on 4 October 2016, the Board of Vela (AIM: VELA), the investing company focused on early-stage and pre-IPO disruptive technology investments, confirms that THEVIBE Ltd's (trading as Vibe Tickets) ("Vibe Tickets") Crowdcube funding round has successfully completed raising a total of £608,890. Vela invested £200,000 in Vibe Tickets as part of this funding round.

Following completion of the funding round Vela is the registered holder of 428,346 ordinary shares in Vibe Tickets and holds a 3.63 per cent. equity interest in the share capital of Vibe Tickets.
