Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Vela Technologies (AIM: VELA) announces the appointment of Antony Laiker as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Antony Laiker served as an Executive Director of the Company from 2013 to 2020. Currently, in addition to roles as an investor and director / advisor to a number of early stage companies, he is a stockbroker at First Equity Limited.

The Company intends to strengthen the Board further through the appointment of an additional independent Non-Executive Director to the Board in due course.

Brent Fitzpatrick, Non-Executive Chairman of Vela, commented:
