Veidekke: To renovate Roskilde University
Veidekke's Danish subsidiary Hoffmann A/S has been commissioned by the Danish
Building and Property Agency to renovate Roskilde University. The contract value
is DKK 363 million.
The contract is the largest to date under the strategic framework agreement
signed by the Danish Building and Property Agency and Hoffmann A/S in December
The project will provide students and researchers at Roskilde University with a
more open, modern, and attractive campus. Five buildings from the 1970s are to
be completely renovated and complemented by two new connecting buildings. In
total, the building mass comprises 8,600 square metres. To make navigating
around the campus easier, outdoor spaces will also be included in the
renovation.
Work on the project starts in January 2024 and is expected to take two years.
The contract is included in the order book for Q4 2023.
