Veidekke ASA: Large housing contract for OBOS in Oslo

Veidekke has been commissioned by OBOS Nye Hjem AS to undertake a project at

Lumanders Hage in Ensjø in Oslo to build 216 apartments, garage facilities and a

kindergarten. The contract is a turnkey contract valued at NOK 512 million,

excl. VAT.

The 216 apartments are divided into five 4-6 storey buildings with basements.

Each apartment will have a private balcony or patio and there will be two large

shared roof terraces. There will be a large open courtyard between the buildings

along with a shared garden and playgrounds. In addition, home buyers will be

able to enjoy large green areas, shops, cafes, schools and kindergartens, and it

is located just three stops from Oslo S on the Oslo Metro.

Facilities will be provided for car sharing schemes and for charging electric

cars and bikes, and parking facilities will also be available for cargo bikes.

In addition, space has been set aside for a large community building with a

kitchen and a separate rental section reserved for all housing association

residents. The project will also include the construction of a kindergarten with

four departments.

Construction work will commence in the middle of May and the first homes are

scheduled to be ready for moving in during the summer of 2023. Read more about
