Veidekke: Building a cold storage facility at Oslo Airport

Oslo Airport City (OAC) has awarded Veidekke Logistikkbygg the mission of

building an environmentally certified logistics facility to be leased to Oslo

Fryselager. The assignment is a turnkey contract worth approximately NOK 125

million excluding VAT.

- This will be a great project that we have had the pleasure of developing for

six months in close and good cooperation with Oslo Airport City and their

customer Oslo Fryselager. We see this as the start of a long and good

cooperation with OAC and we thank you so much for the trust, says General

Manager Roar Kristiansen of Veidekke Logistikkbygg.

The new facility, totaling 8,900 m2, is tailored for Oslo Fryselager's

operations and will give them significantly increased storage capacity to serve

existing and new customers. The building will be a future-oriented and modern

warehouse with a high technical standard, automation, opportunities for future

expansion and it will be environmentally certified according to BREEAM-NOR level

Good.

seafood and logistics cluster. Over the years, we have developed specialist

expertise in the development of refrigerated and frozen logistic buildings, and

Construction is scheduled to start in September with completion in the third

quarter of 2026. The contract will be included in Veidekke's order reserve for

the second quarter of 2025.
