Change of management at Veidekke Infrastructure Norway

Change of management at Veidekke Infrastructure Norway

On 1 January 2026, Anders Haugen (41) will be appointed executive vice president

of Veidekke Infrastructure Norway and will thus also become part of Veidekke's

corporate management team. Haugen succeeds Øivind Larsen (61), who after eight

years will take on a new role at Veidekke, focusing on large infrastructure

projects.

"I would like to thank Øivind for his important contributions to the Norwegian

infrastructure division. He leaves behind a well-functioning business with great

potential and solid expertise. As Øivind now, on his own initiative, wishes to

hand over the position, I'm pleased that he will continue to contribute with his

expertise within Veidekke," says CEO Jimmy Bengtsson.

Anders Haugen joined Veidekke in 2008. He holds a Master of Science degree from

NTNU (the Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and an MBA from NHH

(the Norwegian School of Economics). Haugen joins from the position as manager

for Veidekke's building operations in Oslo, a role he has held for over seven

years. In 2024, he completed a General Management programme at Harvard Business

School and has since been an active and important member of the team working on

the new group strategy together with Veidekke's corporate management and board

of directors.

"I am pleased that Anders is taking over Veidekke Infrastructure Norway. His

commercial focus and strategic thinking, combined with extensive experience from

complex projects and high-level management, will be valuable for Veidekke's

further development," says CEO Jimmy Bengtsson. The fact that Anders brings

solid building expertise into our Infrastructure division adds further value -

not least for our ability to share best practices across the Group.

Anders Haugen will spend the remainder of the year getting to know the

Infrastructure operations and the people behind them.
