VECTION APPOINTS EX DAIMLER CIO, DR HAASIS, ESTABLISHING ITS ADVISORY BOARD

Real-time software company Vection Technologies Ltd ( ASX:VR1 ) ( Vection Technologies , Vection or the Company ) is pleased to announce the establishment of its Advisory Board with the appointment of its first member, highly experienced automotive executive, Dr Siegmar Haasis.

Overview:

executive with twenty-six years international digitization experience with Daimler, one of the biggest producers of premium cars and the world’s biggest manufacturer of commercial vehicles with a global reach, of which the last eight years as CIO R&D of Mercedes-Benz.

projects maturing unparalleled knowledge in R&D, research, production, sales and aftersales and IT, as well as digitization strategy, data and software development.

Dr Haasis has been a member of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) Working Group (WG) Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for over ten years. The VDA is an association comprising of more than 620 companies involved in production for the automotive industry in the Federal Republic of Germany, with more than 80 employees in 20 departments actively pursuing the interests of the German automotive industry. Since 2020, Dr Haasis has covered the role of Chairman of the VDA WG Digitization in Development.

The addition of Dr Haasis, is strategically aligned to the Company’s objective of bringing to market a 360° product suite for Industry 4.0 (digitalisation) in specific market verticals.

Following this appointment, the Company will focus on adding highly experienced executive to its Advisory Board, leveraging their experience and contacts to gain significant market vertical knowledge advantage as it seeks to accelerate its global expansion growth strategy.

Advisory Board Charter/Purpose:

Vection Technologies’ Advisory Board is charged to advise the Board of Directors and Executives with respect to matters within the areas of their experience and expertise and, in particular, assist with technology/product market fit in specific verticals, technology/product market fit from a technological standpoint, client and partners relationship management, and overall company vertical strategy.

In particular, the objectives of the Advisory Board are to gain Vection a technological advantage in specific verticals, gain wider market recognition and market positioning for the Company from a 3D global standpoint to drive material opportunities and ensure strategy is aligned with required market expectations.
