Hamburg, 2nd September 2013 - Varengold Bank AG (WKN 547930) has carried
out a capital increase from authorized capital approved at the General
Assembly on 8th August 2012 under exclusion of subscription rights to the
extent of 146.397 par value bearer shares.
The new shares were issued pursuant to the resolution of the Management
Board and Supervisory Board with an issue price of EUR 23.90 per share with
an international business partner, resulting in a cash inflow of EUR
3,498,888.30. The share capital of the Bank in the amount of
EUR 1,465,437.00 is increased to EUR 1,611,834.00.

The proceeds from the share placement is paid in full to the Company and
will be used to further expand the business activities and product
portfolio of Varengold Bank AG. The Bank would like to focus in particular
on Business Development in the Asset Management together with the
international partner.
