Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG: Capital increase against cash contribution shall not be conducted
Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG / Key word(s): AGM/EGM/Strategic
Company Decision
08.11.2012 / 10:06
Hamburg, 8th November 2012 - Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG (WKN
547930), a German investment bank with an exclusive focus on asset
management with managed futures and capital markets brokerage, decided to
not conduct the primarily planned capital increase against cash
contribution that was authorized by the general meeting on 8th August 2012.
On the current price level of the company the frame data of an appropriate
capital measure could not be shaped with attractive conditions for the
company and its shareholders. An extraordinary general meeting has been
assigned for 18th December 2012 to get the shareholders' agreement for not
conducting the capital increase.
Aimed enlargement of licenses still scheduled:
The not conducted capital increase does not have any influence on the
proposed commercial banking license that currently gets proved. In
addition, within the coming years, the company still wants to avail the
capital increases, which are possible within the framework of the articles
of association.
