Hamburg, July 3rd, 2014 - A change in the ownership structure with
Varengold Bank has taken place. The result being private shareholders of
Varengold Bank AG (WKN 547 930) - including certain members of the board -
have sold a stake of their holdings.

The new investors within Varengold will in future cooperate with the bank
in the segments of asset management, capital markets brokerage and
commercial banking.

Following the shareholder restructure the total capital of 1,771,405 EUR
60% is now being held by institutional investors and business partners.
The remaining 40% of Varengold shareholding remains predominantly with
private investors.
