Hamburg, 11th July 2016 - Varengold Bank AG increased its operating result
significantly within the last months according to the schedule. Based on
preliminary figures, the bank expects an operating result of approx. EUR
2.5 million for the first half of 2016.

The final figures will be published with the interim report in September
2016.
