Hamburg, 17th December 2015 - Mr. Sanjay Shah has irrevocably resigned his
position as a member of the Supervisory Board of Varengold Bank AG with
effect from 7th December 2015. We thank Mr. Shah for his activities as
Supervisory Board member.
On application of the Management Board, the Local Court Hamburg appointed
Dr. Karl-Heinz Lemnitzer as member of the Supervisory Board by resolution
on 14th December 2015. The Supervisory Board has also today elected among
its members Dr. Lemnitzer as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. His deputy
is Michael Stephen Murphy.

Dr. Lemnitzer studied economic sciences at the University of Giessen and
began his career as an audit assistant with Treuverkehr AG in Frankfurt. In
1981 he passed the examination as a tax consultant and two years later the
examination to become a certified accountant. Starting in 1987
Dr. Lemnitzer was Partner Audit Financial Services and retained this
position even after the acquisition of the Treuverkehr AG by KPMG Germany
in 1990. Since 2015 he is retired.
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Karl-Heinz Lemnitzer with his professional
expertise and specific experience in the field of German accounting
regulations and the German Banking Act (KWG) in the Supervisory Board of
Varengold Bank AG.
