Hamburg, 16th August 2012 - The supervisory board of the Varengold
Wertpapierhandelsbank AG (WKN 547930), a German investment bank with an
exclusive focus on asset management with managed futures and capital
markets brokerage, appointed Mr. Yasin Sebastian Qureshi to be chief
executive director. Unchanged, additional members of the executive board
are Mr. Steffen Fix and Mr. Hans Dastmaltchi.

In an altogether unchanged constitution of the supervisory board, Mr. Willi
Müller resigned the chairmanship of the board. Mr. RA Hans J. M. Manteuffel
was elected as his successor. From now on, Mr. Willi Müller is deputy
chairman of the supervisory board. Mr. Prof. Peter Andree is acting as
third member of the board.
